CARLYLE COUNCIL

outreach, LOGO REDESIGN, WEBSITE REDESIGN, EMAIL MARKETING, GRAPHIC DESIGN, SOCIAL MEDIA

The Council was looking to refresh their brand to better represent a vibrant and growing community where people not only worked and lived - but thrived! We redesigned their logo and kept the iconic lion, representative of the statues which greet visitors when they enter the community. A modern logo with a shortened name allows Carlyle to have a contemporary style which reflects the new development coming to their community.

The Carlyle’s website has been a source of community information, with an emphasis on organization and clear communication. We gave the new site fresh a stylish look for visual appeal and fine-tuned the content. For enhanced usability, we made the site event-centric to compliment the dynamic community, while focusing on the most important features without requiring any scrolling.

We became Carlyle’s social eyes and ears, directly managing and scaling their social media audience’s influence. Our team develops and iterates content for any channel (FB, Twitter, Instagram) and engages the community and influencers with Carlyle’s brand. We also helped build their monthly newsletter data base with creative templates, graphics and content to help present the Carlyle’s brand message and information effectively.

Our Outreach team is proud to represent Carlyle and their Transportation Management Program at local events, engaging the community through surveys, scripts and proactive conversations. The valuable feedback they’ve acquired over the years has helped shaped the dynamic Carlyle community of today.

PROJECT GOAL

Despite an appealing array of shops, restaurants, and amenities in the Carlyle section of the City of Alexandria, visitors, employees, and even residents were unaware of the area’s offerings. As a result, they were spending time and money that could have stayed within Carlyle in better-known areas, particularly Old Town Alexandria. The Carlyle Council needed a method to gain buy-in from retailers, hotels, restaurants, and stakeholders to strengthen Carlyle’s brand and foster a sense of community.
